Wondering how to customize your Twitch channel?

Well, it’s pretty easy.

All you need is to enhance the look, feel and presentation of your Twitch stream using 6 little-known graphics pretty much ALL pro streamers secretly use.

They are:

1. Your gaming logo

2. Your animated overlays

3. Your alerts

4. Your stingers

5. Your panels

6. Your banners

And in this post I’m going to walk you through each one of them.

Then I’m going to share how you can get all of them DONE FOR YOU by this cool company I know about (*cough* Gaming Zombies *cough*).

Ready?

Sweet, let’s jump in…

How to Make Your Twitch Channel Look Good

1. Your gaming logo

You need to tell your audience who you are by creating a logo that

  • is unique (so it’s not copyrighted)
  • reflects what you do (gaming, duh!)
  • looks awesome on both white and dark backgrounds

Every pro streamer has their own gaming logo.

And most of them just use their gamertag and a cartoon picture of themselves (because they’re focused on building their personal brand, which, by the way, you should be, too!).

So, if you still don’t have a gaming logo, you can get my team of Zombies to design yours for you, here.

2. Your animated overlays

Let’s assume you’ve got a comfy little corner on Twitch where people tend to drop by and hang out.

Awesome!

Now you’re going to need a specific set of animated overlays that share the same look and feel as your logo (this will help drastically enhance your gaming brand).

These include your:

  • Starting Soon screen
  • Ending screen
  • BRB screen
  • Just Chatting screen
  • Webcam overlay
  • Header overlay

Oh, and just a heads up, you can get our team of Zombies to design ALL of them for you – with your logo – here.

How to Design Your Twitch Channel

3. Your alerts

Wondering what alerts are?

Well, picture this:

Your streaming your favorite game – having the time of your life – when, all of a sudden, one of your diehard fans donates $5.

An alert then pops up letting ALL of your viewers know one of your diehard fans just donated money to you.

Then, because of social proof, they all start doing the same thing.

That’s the donation alert.

That’s just one example of an alert.

There are a ton of others.

Others, again, that are included in our Stream Package (mentioned above).

4. Your stingers

These are short clips that play when you switch in-between your screens.

For example, let’s say your having a casual conversion with your viewers on the ‘Just Chatting’ screen and suddenly need the toilet.

Well, then you select your ‘Be Right Back’ screen, your stinger pops up showing an animation of your gaming logo, and then your ‘Be Right Back’ screen appears.

When you come back from the toilet, you select your ‘Just Chatting’ screen and the stinger showing your animated logo pops up again and your new screen appears.

This is very similar to how, say, ESPN reveal replays during a live football game.

And, yes, this is included in our Stream Package.

How to Personalize Your Twitch Channel

5. Your panels

These are images you add to your Twitch profile that reveal panels of information your viewers want to know more about.

For example:

  • About panels
  • Contact panels
  • Discord panels
  • Donate panels
  • Schedule panels
  • YouTube panels
  • Sponsor panels
  • Rules panels
  • Merch panels
  • Giveaways panels
  • Subscribe panels

The list goes on.

6. Your banners

Your banner is, well, the image you add to your Twitch channel header.

It provides a welcome mat for your new viewers.

A place to quickly share what your channel is all about.

Think of it as your personal secretary welcoming new viewers to your channel 24/7.

While you’re sleeping, it’s there doing it’s thang.

Oh, and, just a little FYI:

Having a banner that matches the color scheme of your Twitch background makes all the difference in the world.

It tells new viewers ‘Hey! I match! I have a REAL brand.’

In conclusion:

Kudos!

You’ve discovered the 6 graphics every new streamer needs to add to their channel in order to LOOK like a pro, you’re ready to get started.

Now, you’ve got two options:

Option #1: Design everything yourself.

Which, let’s be honest, will:

  • Take months
  • Probably drive you a little crazy
  • Prevent you from actually streaming for the next few weeks

Not good.

Option #2: Get our team of Zombies to do EVERYTHING I just mentioned for you… in just 24 hours.

If you want to go with option #2, click here.

Either way, make sure you always have fun gaming!
